Our Mission

At the American Grace & Charm Pageant, our mission is to promote character, confidence, charm and civility in today’s youth/children. We achieve that goal by offering children the opportunity to participate in pageantry, working to support the general welfare of children and reduce child abuse by hosting benefit events to raise funds for child abuse prevention and related charitable causes.
Our program is NOT a "beauty pageant". While external beauty certainly plays a part in the pageant process, we are looking for young ladies and gentlemen of character. We believe that character is shown in what you do for others and that it is especially important to cultivate this attitude in the next generation because today's children are tomorrow's leaders.
The month of April has been designated National Child Abuse Prevention Month in 1983. You may read more about the history here. Blue ribbons are one of the associated "awareness" symbols for child abuse prevention. For more information on how you can get involved and help prevent child abuse, please visit the Child Welfare Gateway, a division of the US Department of Health & Human Services.
